Psalms 91 Homes provides independent living housing for adults seeking stability, accountability, and a safe place to build toward greater independence. We are currently establishing referral partnerships with housing navigators, case managers, nonprofits, and community organizations.

Psalms 91 Homes is accepting inquiries from prospective residents, families, case managers, housing navigators and community organizations. Placement is subject to eligibility, availability and completion of our screening process.

Who We Serve

Psalms 91 Homes is designed for adults who need safe, stable, structured independent living, including:

  • Adults experiencing housing instability
  • Adults transitioning from homelessness
  • Adults exiting shelters or temporary housing
  • Low-income adults
  • Veterans
  • Returning citizens
  • Adults with housing vouchers or other housing funding
  • Adults referred by qualified community organizations
  • Adults who are able to live independently within a structured household


Eligibility and funding requirements apply.

Housing may be supported through eligible income, benefits, vouchers, or approved referral/funding arrangements.

What We Do Not Offer:


  • Detox services
  • Substance-use treatment
  • Clinical therapy
  • Medical care
  • Mental-health treatment
  • 24-hour clinical supervision

Residents who need these services can continue receiving them through qualified outside providers and their existing support network.

Psalms 91 Homes works with referral partners to connect eligible adults with independent living housing in the Sacramento area.


Our referral process:

1. Refer → Your organization submits a referral.

2. Review → We review eligibility and housing fit.

3. Coordinate → We communicate with the referring organization and prospective resident.

4. Move In → Approved residents complete the move-in process.
